Your Reaction: What did you think of Current, Rising, the world's first hyperreality opera?
The Royal Opera's trailblazing piece is inspired by the end of Shakespeare's The Tempest and combines virtual reality with a multi-sensory set.

#currentrising @RoyalOperaHouse was an incredible experience - saw my family as avatars the first time... Elevated into the upper atmosphere, you feel the wind around you. Holistic work for all senses and glimpse into the future of entertainment!

Today I went to the world’s first virtual reality opera - Current, Rising - at the Royal Opera House. A 15-minute immersive, walk-through installation like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Just incredible! And I felt like an action hero in my get-up... pic.twitter.com/ZXBy4Uq1oY

Last year, I had a preview of the @RoyalOperaHouse 's "hyper reality opera" Current, Rising. It was not only one of the best things I did during a time with so few events on, but one of the most interesting cultural things I've ever seen. It was then delayed by lockdown. (1/2)

Stop what you’re doing and book a place at Current Rising @RoyalOperaHouse whilst you can - #vropera art installation. I gasped, I cried a bit... I even lost control of my legs and had to be pushed through a door. #reopening
