Two exhilaratingly intense pieces of music theatre bring art and politics to the stage, in works by exciting contemporary composers, directors and filmmakers.
Another great night of #OurHouseToYourHouse with New Dark Age. Well done @RoyalOperaHouse for putting black artists/stories and female composers on the main stage. More of this please!

Wow. Well this was stunning. 1st piece #TheKnifeOfDawn was seriously striking and moving. And the women in 2nd piece #ANewDarkAge has just had me bloody sobbing. Also big hats off to both being directed by women; Ola Ince & Katie Mitchell respectively 👏🏻🙌🏻 #OurHouseToYourHouse https://t.co/HHBpa23xZO

New Dark Age @RoyalOperaHouse was magnificent - and incredibly moving to see London after so long away. pic.twitter.com/7egM3NJXZJ

Really enjoyed tonight’s Royal Opera House event - especially the Katie Mitchell - the high pitched mantra “I belong in the new dark age” is basically the inside of my head trying to adjust to now. Can be streamed! https://t.co/WXR1VWfxio
