Pavel Černoch performs at La Scala, Milan, Vienna State Opera, Paris Opera, Dutch National Opera, the Royal Opera House and at the Salzburg and Glyndebourne festivals, among others. Recent engagements include Sergey in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Liceu, Barcelona), Boris in Káťa Kabanová (Bayerische Staatsoper), Boris with Gewandhausorchester Leipzig and Janáček’s Our Father with the Prague Philharmonic Choir and Glagolitic Mass with the Czech Philharmonic. Other recent highlights include The Prince in Rusalka (Vienna, Staatsoper Berlin), his Lyric Opera of Chicago debut as Laca in Jenůfa, Albert Gregor in The Makropoulos Affair (Paris Opera) and Sergey (Hamburg State Opera). Engagements for 2025/26 include Sergey at the Enescu Festival, the title role in Don Carlo with Fondazione Lirico Sinfonica Petruzzelli e Teatri di Bari, Albert in Vienna and Jeník (The Bartered Bride) at Teatro Real, Madrid. Concert engagements include Bruckner’s Mass No. 3 in F minor (Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia), Adventkonzert (Wiener Symphoniker), Martinů’s Christmas Cantata (Prague Philharmonic Choir), Anatol in Vanessa (Boston Symphony Orchestra) and the title role in Faust et Hélène (Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra).
