Biography

Lithuanian baritone Romanas Kudriašovas studied singing at the Music Academy in Lithuania, in Hamburg and at the London National Opera Studio. He has participated in masterclasses with Leo Nucci, Barbara Frittoli, Richard Bonynge and Kiri Te Kanawa. Recent engagements have included debuts in Irrelohe for Opéra de Lyon, Salome for the Bergen Festival, Pagliacci and La Vendetta for Danish National Opera, La bohème for Lithuanian National Opera, Lakmé in Valladolid, The Queen of Spades for Vilnius Opera, Cendrillon and Vanessa at the Glyndebourne Festival, Tosca in Abu Dhabi, Acis and Galatea and La fida Ninfa for Baroque Opera Theatre of Lithuania, The Beggar’s Opera and Dardanus for the European Opera Centre and Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny with the Hamburger Symphoniker. This is his Royal Opera debut.
