Find out more about accessing, sharing and managing your tickets for all our events.
From the 2025/26 Season, we will be using a new digital tickets system. This change makes our tickets easier to view, more accessible for all audiences and enhances security, significantly lowering the risk of fraudulent behaviour.
Our tickets are paperless and accessible via the internet on your smartphone or any digital device. Each ticket features a unique QR code, so you can transfer it to your guests.
Just like our website, tickets are accessible on any digital device. If you have an Apple device, you can save RBO tickets to your Apple Wallet. You can also bookmark the webpage for quick access or add a shortcut to the wallet.rbo.org.uk webpage to your phone's homescreen. This can be done on both Apple and Android devices.
You can transfer some or all of your digital tickets with your guests—whether you're giving them as a gift or ensuring everyone has their own ticket. Sharing tickets also means your group can enter the event when they're ready.
Tickets are delivered through a secure website that links your account directly with the tickets you have received. Transferred tickets are not valid until claimed, then they are moved to your secure ticket wallet.
Sharing your tickets makes it easy for everyone in your group to enter the event without needing to meet up beforehand, each person gets their own ticket to scan at the door. It’s also a great option if you bought the tickets as a gift. You can send them directly to the recipient with just a few taps. Plus, once a ticket is transferred, it stays in that guest’s account even after the performance, so they’ll have their own ticket history to look back on.
You can either ask your guest to send it back to you by clicking 'Return this ticket to sender', or you can go to the event in your RBO wallet and click 'Get this ticket back' to reclaim the ticket. This will return the ticket to your account. Once the ticket is back in your account, you can either use it yourself or transfer it to someone else by following the same steps you used before.
If you or a guest can no longer attend and you would like to return or refund the ticket, please visit our dedicated Ticket Refunds page for more information.
Ask the person who purchased the ticket to generate and send you a new transfer link. It only takes a moment.
Make sure you're logged into the correct RBO account - the one you used to purchase the tickets. If you have multiple accounts, check your email confirmation to see which one the tickets are linked to.
If you have added your ticket(s) to your Apple Wallet, it will no longer be active in your RBO Wallet. Your active ticket can only appear in one place at a time.
If you are still not seeing them after 24 hours and have the purchase confirmation email, please contact the box office for help.
The Royal Ballet and Opera want to ensure everyone can access their tickets for a performance or event. If you are unable to present a ticket on a smartphone, an alternative way to access your tickets will made available to you before the 2025/26 Season opens. More details to follow.
If you're no longer able to attend a performance, for information about ticket exchanges, resales, and refunds, please visit our dedicated Ticket Refunds page.
