This topical interpretation is a love letter to the Royal Opera House which allows a peek into its abandoned spaces as we see an artist who misses the stage. The disoriented diva becomes unable to square truth and fiction.
The Jette Parker Young Artists Programme’s LockDown/SkillUp initiative enabled 30 emerging stage directors to get to grips with opera under the leadership of director Katie Mitchell. Three of these directors have joined forces with Jette Parker Young Artists to create a series of musical journeys captured on location at the Royal Opera House.
