Restaurants Terms and Conditions
Recommended Dining Time
We recommend that customers that are dining around a performance have their starter and main course before the performance, with dessert and coffee to be enjoyed during the interval. In the event that there are two or more intervals, one course will be served per interval. For further information on performance timings, please see individual event details pages. Our restaurant reservations staff receive performance timings approximately one week prior to the first performance of a production.
Balconies Restaurant and Crush Room
Pre-orders of your meal must be received no later than 24 hours before your reservation time. A minimum order of a two-course meal per person is required. Should you no longer require your table, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required. Failure to cancel within this period will result in a charge of £30.00 per person or the full cost of the food pre-ordered, whichever is greater.
Please note that returning performance tickets does not automatically cancel a restaurant reservation. Customers must contact the restaurant directly to cancel. All bills will be settled at the table.
We will make every reasonable effort to contact customers if a pre-order has not been received. Royal Opera House Restaurants cannot accept responsibility for bookings that are cancelled or affected due to failure to observe the stated notice periods.
