Ukranian baritone Andrii Kymach’s upcoming engagements include Count Tomsky (Pique Dame) at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, as well as returns to Paris Opera and Welsh National Opera. Concert performances include Robert (Iolanta) with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra,The Bellswith the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and a recital at Oxford Lieder. Recent engagements include Germont (La traviata) for Houston Grand Opera, the titlerole ofDon Giovannifor Opera Australia, Escamillo (Carmen) for Lyric Opera of Chicago, Count Tomsky for the Grange Festival, Sir Riccardo Forth (I puritani) for Liceu, Barcelona, Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor) for Auditorio de Tenerife,Don Giovannifor Opera Nice, Théâtre d’Antibes and Welsh National Opera andThe Demonat the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London. Kymach won First Prize in the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World in 2019.
