Italian soprano Anna Pirozzi was born in Naples and studied at the Istituto Musicale della Valle d'Aosta and Conservatorio ‘G. Verdi’ in Turin. She made her professional debut in 2012 at Teatro Regio, Turin as Amelia (Un ballo in maschera), and has since appeared worldwide, including at the Royal Opera House, Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, Milan, Paris Opera, Vienna State Opera, Arena di Verona, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, Valencia, Teatro Real, Madrid, San Francisco Opera, Liceu, Barcelona and Bayerische Staatsoper. Highlights include Maddalena di Coigny (Andrea Chénier) in San Francisco, Turandot under Zubin Mehta in Tel Aviv, Lucrezia Contarini (I due Foscari) in Milan, Aida in Verona and Madrid and Amelia in Parma, Turin, Barcelona and Valencia. Recent engagements include the title roles in Adriana Lecouvreur, Madama Butterfly and Medea. Engagements for 2025/26 include Aida in Monte-Carlo and Turandot in Berlin, Milan, New York, Naples and Paris.
