Greek/Scottish soprano Annie Fassea studied at the Maria Callas Athenaeum Conservatory (Athens) and was a member of Greek National Opera’s Young Artists Program. Highlights include Violetta (La traviata) with Silesian Opera, Amina (La Sonnambula) with Ras de Terra, Königin der Nacht (Die Zauberflöte) with Opera Classica, Musetta (La bohème) with GNO, Adele (Die Fledermaus) with IF Opera and Olympia Theatre, Zerlina (Don Giovanni) with Sofia NDK, Ilia (Idomeneo) with Cultural Center Heraklion and Mahler’s 4th Symphony with ERT National Radio Symphony Orchestra at the Athens Concert Hall. Awards include the Prix Spécial Voix Féminine and Prix Spécial du Public at the Concours International de Belcanto Vincenzo Bellini (2024), Hans Gabor Award at the Belvedere Singing Competition (2023), winner of Let’s Sing EU (2022), Special Award at the Bolko von Hochberg Competition (2022), 3rd Prize with the Jacques Offenbach Grand Prix (2021) and the Fulbright Artist's Scholarship (2019). Engagements for 2025/26 include her house debut at Volksoper Wien. She makes her debut with The Royal Opera in the 2025/26 Season as the Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute).
