Biography
Bekhzod Davronov is a former member of the ensembles at Dresden Semperoper and the Bolshoi Theatre, where his repertoire included La traviata, La bohème, Lucia di Lammermoor, Beatrice et Benedict, Boris Godunov, The Tsar’s Bride, The Tale of Tsar Saltan and The Demon. He was the Second Prize winner at Operalia 2021. Recent highlights include his Dallas Opera debut as Alfredo (La traviata) and Rodolfo (La bohème), Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor) and Rodolfo at Dresden Semperoper, Duke (Rigoletto) at Irish National Opera, his Salzburg Festival debut as Roberto, Count of Leicester (Maria Stuarda), Cassio (Otello) at Vienna State Opera, Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) at Teatro di San Carlo, Naples, Prunier (La rondine) at the Metropolitan Opera, Alfredo at Santa Fe Opera and Rodolfo in Prague and on tour with Glyndebourne. Engagements for 2025/26 include his role and house debuts as Romeo (Romeo and Juliet) at the Canadian Opera Company and Teatr Wielki, Warsaw, as well as returns to Vienna State Opera for Edgardo, Dresden Semperoper for Rodolfo and Bayerische Staatsoper for Duke and Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore). He makes his debut with The Royal Opera in the 2025/26 Season as Alfredo.
