Ben Bliss’s 2023/24 highlights included house debuts at Paris Opera as Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) and Vienna State Opera as Ferrando (Così fan tutte), his role debut as Roméo (Roméo et Juliette) with Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) and Pélléas (Pélléas et Mélisande) with Bayerische Staatsoper, and a return to the Canadian Opera Company as Don Ottavio. Concert highlights included Beethoven’s Symphony no. 9 with San Francisco Symphony under Michael Tilson-Thomas and a recital with Louise Alder at Wigmore Hall. His 2024/25 engagements include a role debut as Eric in the New York premiere of Jeanine Tesori’s Grounded and Tamino for the Metropolitan Opera; a return to Paris Opera for Tom Rakewell (The Rake’s Progress) and his house debut at Théâtre des Champs-Élysées as Jupiter. Concert engagements include performances with the Metropolitan Opera and Yannick Nézet-Séguin at Carnegie Hall, as well as with the Chamber Music Society Lincoln Center. He makes his Royal Opera debut as Jupiter in Semele in the 2024/25 Season.
