Russian-Austrian baritone Boris Pinkhasovich studied at the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire. Recent appearances include Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor) at La Scala, Milan, Belcore (L'elisir d’amore) at the Royal Opera House, Kovalyov (The Nose) at Bayerische Staatsoper, the title role of Eugene Onegin and Ford (Falstaff) at Vienna State Opera, Shchelkalov (Boris Godunov) at Paris Opera, Marcello (La bohème) at La Scala, Milan, the Royal Opera House and Vienna State Opera, Sharpless (Madama Butterfly) at Bayerische Staatsoper, Semperoper Dresden and Vienna State Opera and Rodrigo (Don Carlo) and Prince Yeletsky (Pique Dame) at Vienna State Opera and Bayerische Staatsoper. Engagements for 2024/25 include Marcello at the Metropolitan Opera, Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor) at Zurich Opera, Robert (Iolanta) at Vienna State Opera, Prince Yeletsky at Bayerische Staatsoper and the Vienna State Opera, Guglielmo (Le Villi) with Münchner Rundfunkorchester and baritone soloist in Rachmaninoff's Spring at ZaterdagMatinee, Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
