Biography

Clare Almond is a versatile actor with a background in music and dance. Her many stage credits include Suff’ring (Straightup Productions), Desire Caught by the Tail (Luxe Productions), Crushed Shells and Mud (Southwark Playhouse), Who Cares (Royal Court Theatre), The Anniversary (Royal & Derngate, Northampton), Ralph Roister Doister (Owle Schreame Theatre Co.), We, Macbeth (Theatro Technis), The Vagina Monologues (Bluestocking Theatre Co) and Haunted Meat (Graeae Theatre). Film and TV credits include the title role of Old Gal for Film 4, The Crown (series 1,2,3 and 4), Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Grimsby, The Hollow Crown, Dark Desires, Downton Abbey, Detectorists, Harold Shipman, The Durrells (series 3) for ITV, Britannia (series 2), The Nevers, A Christmas Carol and Disney’s Snow White, as well as numerous short films, commercials and music videos. She has also been the poster girl for Trainline.
