Corinna Niemeyer is Artistic and Music Director of the Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg, following a two-year tenure as Assistant Conductor with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Her varied conducting work includes period music ensembles, contemporary premieres, cross-disciplinary projects, opera and mainstream symphonic projects. 2023/24 Season highlights include symphonic appearances with the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France and Heidelberg Philharmonic and productions of Cendrillon (Opera de Lausanne) and The Fairy Queen (Theater St Gallen). In the 2022/23 Season she made debuts with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the Hallé, Saarländisches Staatsorchester and Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, and returned to lead the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and Ensemble Modern. She made her Royal Opera debut in the 2022/23 Season leading the Aurora Orchestra in The Rape of Lucretia.
