Dan Herbert is a musician, sound designer, producer, programmer and live electronic artist, featured on radio, film and TV, and has performed at events such as Oscillate, Sounds New, Free Range, the Kent International Film Festival, Wintersound and the York Contemporary Arts Festival. Since developing Unrealtime as part of their research into digital music creativity, Dan and frequent collaborator Panos Ghikas have designed and facilitated a range of workshops on digital music improvisation, receiving funding and in-kind support from Arts Council England, Arts Council Ireland, Iklectik Arts, Ootiboo, Farshore Publishing and Canterbury Christ Church University.
