Dominic Barrand



Born in Nottingham, Dominic Barrand studied at the RWCMD and the GSMD. He has sung for UK opera companies including Opera Holland Park and D’Oyly Carte Opera Company and at the Aldeburgh Festival. His repertory includes Leporello, Don Alfonso, Doctor Dulcamara, Ferrando (Il trovatore), Ramfis, Méphistophélès (Faust) and Baron Scarpia. His concert repertory includes Haydn’s Creation, Brahms’s Liebeslieder Waltzes, Stanford’s Songs of the Fleet, Finzi’s In terra pax and Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on Christmas Carols. He is a member of the Royal Opera Chorus and has also sung solo roles in I due Foscari, Death in Venice and Der Rosenkavalier.
