Biography

Edmund Danon studied at the Royal Academy of Music and National Opera Studio supported by the Glyndebourne New Generation Programme, and Peter and Helen Blumer. Operatic roles include the Housemate in the premiere of Oliver Leith’s Last Days (Royal Opera House and Los Angeles Philharmonic), Dandini in La Cenerentola (English Touring Opera), Colline in La bohème (Northern Ireland Opera), Bartolo in the Marriage of Figaro and Zuniga in Carmen (Waterperry), Andrei in the premiere of Bolton’s Litvinenko (Grange Park Opera), Demetrius in a Midsummer Night’s Dream (Nevill Holt), Eddy in Greek (Arcola Theatre) and the Lakai in Ariadne auf Naxos (Glyndebourne). Plans include Mizgir in The Snowmaiden for English Touring Opera.
