Biography
Edward Grint studied at King’s College, Cambridge and at the Royal College of Music. Current and future engagements include concerts with Capella Mediterranea, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Netherlands Bach Society, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, The English Concert, Les Arts Florissant, Collegium Vocale Gent, and London Handel Festival. As a performer of baroque repertoire, he has performed with The King’s Consort, London Mozart Players, Orchestra of the Age of the Enlightenment, London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Les Musiciens du Louvre, Gabrieli consort, Dunedin Consort, Banquet Celeste and Oxford Bach Choir. Venues have included the Salzburger Festspiele, Theater an der Wien, Tiroler Festspiele Erl, Göttingen Händel Festival, Innsbruck Festival, Paris Philharmonie, Aix-en-Provence Festival, Concertgebouw, Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall and Enescu Festival Bucharest. Plans for 2026/27 include international tours with Ensemble Cappella Mediterranea, Les Arts Florissant, and PRJCT Amsterdam. He makes his Royal Opera debut in the 2026/27 Season, singing the role of Melisso in Alcina.
