Elena’s music is familiar to audiences across Europe, America and Asia through her operatic, chamber and orchestral pieces. Her operas include Figaro Gets a Divorce (Welsh National Opera, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Royal Swedish Opera) and Rhondda Rips It Up! (WNO and on tour). Her new opera To Die For recently premiered at Netherlands Reisopera, and is coming to the London Coliseum in November. Her recent cantata The Dong with a Luminous Nose was performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Boston Symphony. Landscape With Three People, a CD of Elena’s vocal and chamber pieces, was released by Harmonia Mundi. Fabulous Beasts, a cycle of songs, was premiered by Hugh Cutting at the Wigmore Hall. 

2026/27 Season highlights include a revival of her Ariadne, by ETO, and the premiere of her violin concerto for Julian Rachlin and the Hamburg Philharmonic. Concertgebouw will perform her Figaro Gets a Divorce suite under Maxim Emelyanychev.
