Eric Cutler is a graduate of Luther College and the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. He has sung worldwide including at the Metropolitan Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, Vienna State Opera and Paris Opera. Concert highlights include Beethoven's Symphony no. 9 at the Berlin Staatoper Unter den Linden under Daniel Barenboim, and Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde at Teatro di San Carlo, Naples under Juraj Valčuha and with the Pittsburgh Symphony under Manfred Honeck. His 2024/25 Season engagements include Florestan and his role debut as Paul in Die tote Stadt at Zurich Opera and Das Lied von der Erde on tour with the Staatskapelle Berlin. Previous engagements with The Royal Opera include Don Pasquale.
