Fabrice Kebour
Biography
French lighting designer Fabrice Kebour trained on the United Scenic Artists programme and made his European debut with Terry Hands’ production of Hamlet in Paris, followed by a variety of productions for the Spoleto Festival. As Associate Lighting Designer for Cameron Mackintosh productions, his credits include Les Misérables for Madrid, Dublin, Edinburgh, Singapore, Duisburg and Hong Kong, as well as Miss Saigon in Stuttgart and Scheveningen. His collaborations with director David Pountney have included La forza del destino for Vienna State Opera, Die Zauberflöte for the Bregenz Festival and the world premiere of Philip Glass’s Spuren der Verirrten for the opening of Linz Opera House. His recent credits include La bohème and Berenice at Paris Opera, Il Viaggio, Dante (world premiere by Pascal Dusapin) for the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, the world premiere of Philip Glass’s Alice for Opéra du Rhin, Il trittico for the Salzburg Festival, La rondine for Zurich Opera House, La voix humaine/Erwartung at Teatro Real and La fiamma for Deutsche Oper Berlin.
