Mexican dancer Fabrizzio Ulloa Cornejo joins The Royal Ballet’s Aud Jebsen Young Dancers Programme at the beginning of the 2026/27 Season. 

Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Fabrizzio began his ballet training at the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey before moving to Switzerland to continue his studies at Ballettschule Theater Basel. He was awarded the Senior Grand Prix Award at the 2023 International Finals of the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and First Prize at the Prix de Lausanne 2023 which led him to join The Royal Ballet School’s Upper School later that year.

While at the School, Fabrizzio received Second Prize in the Lynn Seymour Award for Expressive Dance 2024 and was selected to represent the School at the Youth Grand Prix Gala in Japan in 2025 with a performance of Frederick Ashton’s Rhapsody Pas de deux. 

At the School’s annual Summer Performances, he performed leading roles including Prince Désiré in Antony Dowell’s Aurora’s Wedding, Prince Siegfried in Peter Wright’s Swan Lake, Principal Role in Marius Petipa’s Paquita Suite and Blue Boy in Frederick Ashton’s Les Patineurs. As well as featured roles in Christopher Wheeldon’s Christening Suite, Hannah Joseph’s Gridlock, and one of the Brown Couples in Frederick Ashton’s Les Patineurs. 

As a student, he performed with The Royal Ballet in productions of Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and Giselle. He has also appeared as a guest artist at the PAAX GNP Festival under the direction of Alondra de la Parra and Christopher Wheeldon.
