Biography

Jenny works as a director, movement specialist and creative collaborator in theatre and opera. Work as director includes: Pelléas et Mélisande, Spell Book/La liberazione di Ruggiero... (Longborough Festival Opera), La Cenerentola (English Touring Opera), The Burning Fiery Furnace (Scottish Opera) and Dr Angelus (Finborough). Movement or Associate direction includes: Self Esteem: A Complicated Woman, The Fifth Step (West End), The Marriage of Figaro (Wuppertal Opera House, ENO), Lear (Hannover State Opera), Street Scene(s) (Paris Opera), Sonntag aus Licht (Le Balcon, Philharmonie de Paris), Carmen (Scottish Opera), Il Piccolo Principe (La Scala), Orlando (Oper Frankfurt), Greek (Hannover State Opera, Scottish Opera and BAM, New York), The Cunning Little Vixen (ENO), Orlando (world premiere, Vienna State Opera), Absolute Hell (National Theatre), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Young Vic), The Turn of the Screw (ENO, Regent’s Park), Crave, Plenty (Chichester Festival Theatre), Vassa (Almeida Theatre), Hobson’s Choice (Royal Exchange, Manchester), hang, Rutherford and Son, Love and Information (Sheffield Crucible).
