Other recent appearances include Siegfried (Grand Théâtre de Genève), Prince Andrei Khovansky in Khovanshchina (Frankfurt Opera), Aron in Moses und Aron (Komische Oper Berlin), Peter Grimes (Royal Swedish Opera), Alviano in Die Gezeichneten, the title role in Der Zwerg, Witch in Hänsel und Gretel and Loge (Bayerische Staatsoper), Alexey in The Gambler (Dutch National Opera), Aschenbach in Death in Venice and Orsini in Ginastera’s Bomarzo (Teatro Real, Madrid), Drum Major in Wozzeck (Staatsoper Berlin, Salzburg Festival, Theater an der Wien), Albrecht von Brandenburg in Mathis der Maler (Semperoper Dresden) and Sergey in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Bolshoi, Opéra de Lyon, English National Opera).
