Keeley Forsyth is a singer, composer and actress. Having trained as a dancer and in dramatic arts, she has developed a parallel career as a unique and uncompromising presence in contemporary music.

Her sound moves between contemporary classical, folk and sacred music, her work often exploring dark and weighty themes to seek deeper truths and motivations. Forsyth's debut album, Debris, was released in 2020 and followed by Limbs in 2022. Both records received critical acclaim, prompting comparisons with Nico, Nick Cave, Portishead’s Beth Gibbons, Anohni and Scott Walker. In 2024, she released her third studio album, The Hollow.

Forsyth's live shows are animated by a focus on physicality and movement, with references both to theatre and performance art, all delivered within a minimal, monochromatic setting. Notable appearances include performances at Unsound, Dark Mofo, Le Guess Who?, CTM, Rewire and Donaufestival.

As actor, Forsyth's film and television work includes Jessica Hausner’s dark satire Club Zero (2023) as well as Yorgos Lanthimos’s Poor Things (2023). She also plays the central character, cult leader Mazu Wace, in The Running Grave, a five-part BBC/HBO production based on the novels by Robert Galbraith, due for release in 2026. In 2027, she will appear in a major film franchise currently in production.
