Biography
Natalya Romaniw is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Awards include Young Artist of the Year at the Gramophone Classical Music Awards and Singer of the Year at the Royal Philharmonic Society Awards (both 2020). Recent operatic highlights include Sieglinde in Die Walkūre, Helena in Festen, and Tosca (Royal Opera House), Tosca (Dutch National Opera, Staatsoper Hamburg, Oper Frankfurt, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Welsh National Opera), Ariadne (Ariadne auf Naxos), Rusalka, Tatyana in Eugene Onegin (Garsington Opera), and Helena in Festen (Finnish National Opera). Concert performances include appearances with the London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Hallé, Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, National Polish Radio Orchestra, and City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Other 2026-27 engagements include Tosca (Metropolitan Opera, Semperoper Dresden, Oper Leipzig), Sieglinde in Die Walküre (Kansas City Symphony), Britten’s War Requiem (Orchestre de Paris) and Strauss’ Vier letzte Lieder (BBC Scottish Symphony).
