In the 2024-25 season, mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis debuts at The Royal Opera as Amneris in Aida (a role she has previously sung at the Royal Danish Opera, Bavarian State Opera and Opera im Steinbruch), Houston Grand Opera as Azucena in Il trovatore and at Grand Théâtre de Genève as Marfa in Khovanshchina. She returns to Dutch National Opera as Marina in Boris Godunov, directed by Kirill Serebrennikov and conducted by Vasily Petrenko. Concert highlights include Dalila in Samson et Dalila at New Orleans Opera and Verdi’s Requiem with the Winston-Salem Symphony. Recent season highlights include her Metropolitan Opera debut as Baba the Turk in The Rake’s Progress, and Fricka in Das Rheingold at Los Angeles Opera under Gustavo Dudamel. She released her debut single, ‘I Praise the Dance’, in collaboration with composer Rene Orth. She holds a Master of Music and Professional Studies Certificate from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas at Arlington.
