Biography

British soprano Robyn Allegra Parton studied at the University of Oxford and Royal College of Music. Her repertory includes Gilda in Rigoletto (English National Opera, Theater Münster), Violetta in La traviata (Theater Münster, Theater für Niedersachsen), the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor (IF Opera), Adina in L'Elisir d'Amore, Micaëla in Carmen, Musetta in La bohème and Tytania in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Theater Münster) and Helmwige in Die Walküre (Teatro di San Carlo, Naples). She made her debut with The Royal Opera as Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro) in 2015 and has returned for the title role in Mark-Anthony Turnage's Coraline, Peg (The Virtues of Things) and Victoria (The Lost Thing). She also joined the cast of the Linbury Theatre production of 4.48 Psychosis at Opéra National du Rhin. She is the recipient of the Theater Münster Spielzeit Award 2025 and the Friends of Folkoperan Stockholm Soloist Award for Coraline. She released her first solo album, Burnished Gold, in 2023.
