Ross Ramgobin

Biography

Ross Ramgobin is an alumnus of the Royal Academy of Music and National Opera Studios. He has sung for companies including The Royal Opera, English National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Opera Holland Park, Welsh National Opera, Angers Nantes Opera, Israeli Opera and Nederlandse Reisopera, as well as at the Aldeburgh, Brisbane Baroque, Göttingen, Verbier and White Nights of St Petersburg festivals. Concert engagements have included projects with The Bach Choir, BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and Radio Filharmonisch Orkest. Recordings include Agrippina at the Göttingen Festival and Stanford’s Requiem with CBSO (Hyperion), as well as Rusalka with The Royal Opera (Opus Arte). His 2024/25 season engagements include Clive in the world premiere of Jonathan Dove’s Uprising and Prosdocimo in Il turco in Italia for Glyndebourne and Sharpless in Madama Butterfly for Grange Park Opera.
