Soloman Howard’s recent engagements include Hunding (Die Walküre) at the Royal Opera House and Santa Fe Opera, Sparafucile (Rigoletto) at the Metropolitan Opera and Lyric Opera of Chicago, Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte) at the Metropolitan Opera, Colline (La bohème) at Santa Fe Opera and Banquo (Macbeth) at Washington National Opera. Recent concert engagements include Tippett’s A Child of Our Time and Beethoven’s Symphony no.9 with the London Symphony Orchestra under Antonio Pappano. Engagements for 2025/26 include Fafner with the Rotterdam Philharmonic under Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Commendatore (Don Giovanni) at the Metropolitan Opera, his Dresden Semperoper debut as Ramfis (Aida), Hunding in concert versions of Die Walküre with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Beethoven’s Symphony no.9 at the Enescu Festival.
