Biography

Stephanie Louise Edwards is a British lyric soprano from Buckinghamshire. She trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, graduating in 2023. She has performed widely in the UK and abroad, including recitals at St Martin-in-the-Fields and St James’ Piccadilly. Upcoming performances include a recital in the Live at Lunch series at the Royal Opera House's Paul Hamlyn Hall. Recent operatic roles include La Princesse, Le Feu and Le Rossignol (L’Enfant et les sortilèges). Concert highlights include New Year’s Eve Galas with the Preußische Kammerorchester. She joined the Royal Opera Chorus in 2023, covering roles including Confidante (Elektra), Lene (Festen), Aunt (Madama Butterfly) and Papagena (Die Zauberflöte). She makes her Royal Opera Main Stage debut as Papagena in the 2025 Season.
