American baritone Thomas Lehman is a member of the Ensemble at the Deutsche Oper, Berlin. Recent engagements include his role debut as Wolfram (Tannhäuser, concert performance) at the Edinburgh International Festival, Heerufer (Lohengrin) at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and role debuts as Yeletsky (The Queen of Spades) and Nixon (Nixon in China). At the Deutsche Oper Berlin, recent appearances include Gunther (Götterdämmerung), Lucifer (Antikrist), and Guy de Montfort (Les Vêpres siciliennes). Other recent Berlin roles include Lescaut (Manon Lescaut), Ford (Falstaff), Marcello (La bohème), Renato (Un ballo in maschera), Rossini’s Figaro, Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Valentin (Faust) and Silvio (Pagliacci). Recent guest engagements have included Ford (Falstaff) at the Komische Oper Berlin; Ibn-Hakia (Iolanta) in Bern; Almaviva (Theater Basel); Lescaut (EIF); Silvio (Pagliacci) for the Teatro São Carlos and Hindley Earnshaw (Wuthering Heights) for the Opéra national de Lorraine. 24/25 season highlights include role debuts as Germont (La traviata) and Don Fernando (Fidelio). He appears with The Royal Opera as Peter (Hansel and Gretel).
