Ukrainian tenor Valentyn Dytiuk studied at the Tchaikovsky National Musical Academy and Postgraduate Academy in Kiev and is a former artist of the Ukrainian National Opera (2014–22). Recent engagements include his role debut as Don Carlo, Arrigo (I vespri siciliani) and Florestan (Fidelio) for Deutsche Oper Berlin, Rodolfo (La bohème) for National Theatre Prague, Faust (La Damnation de Faust) for Estonian National Opera, Alfredo (La traviata) for Teatro Verdi, Salerno, his Berlin Philharmoniker debut in Honegger’s Jeanne d’Arc au bûcher, alongside Marion Cotillard and under Alan Gilbert, Verdi’s Requiem with the National Symphony Orchestra in Dublin, Faust (La Damnation de Faust) with the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra, Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) and Young Gypsy (Aleko) for Israeli Opera, Pinkerton in Prague and for Teatro Filarmonico, Verona, Rodolfo for Teatro Regio, Turin and Arrigo for Teatro Verdi, Salerno.
