French tenor Vincent Ordonneau began his career as a member of French boys’ choir Les Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois, followed by studies at the Conservatory of Lyon and an early career as an engineer. Previously for The Royal Opera: Le Remendado (Carmen), the Four Servants (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) and Schmidt (Werther). Roles elsewhere include The Shepherd (Oedipe) for the Salzburg Festival and Paris Opera, the Four Servants in Barcelona, Tel Aviv and Liège, Chaplain (Dialogues des Carmélites) for Toulouse and the Glyndebourne Festival, and Le Remendado at the Arena di Verona. Additional roles elsewhere include: Goro (Madama Butterfly), Rodolphe (William Tell), Torquemada (L’Heure espagnole), Tanzmeister (Ariadne auf Naxos), Basilio (Le nozze di Figaro), Pong (Turandot), Spoletta (Tosca) and Bardolfo (Falstaff). 24/25 season highlights include Third Jew (Salome) at the Grand Théâtre de Genève) and Torquemada (L'enfant et les sortilèges) for the Opéra de Monte-Carlo.
