Winnie Dias is a dancer, choreographer and rehearsal director based in Germany. Born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, she trained at CEFAR and Compasso Academia de Dança before earning a scholarship to study at the Akademie des Tanzes Mannheim, where she completed her master’s in Dance. She was a member of the Hamburg Ballet, Staatsballett Karlsruhe, Ballet du Rhin and the German National Youth Ballet. As a freelancer, she has worked with companies across Europe and the UK, and has undertaken independent projects in theatre and film. She is an assistant to Joseph Toonga and worked at his latest creation for The Royal Ballet.
