Aud Jebsen Young Dancer

Biography

Yuki Nagayasu joined The Royal Ballet’s Aud Jebsen Young Dancers programme at the beginning of the 2025/26 Season.   

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Nagayasu began dancing at the age of four. She received her early training at Cheng Ballet Academy and Avec Coco Junko Fukuda Ballet Studio before joining The Royal Ballet School in 2022. 

During her time at the School, she was awarded the Dame Monica Mason Award and the Second Year Artistic Prize for Progress and Endeavour. 

Her roles in the School's summer performances included Aurora in Anthony Dowell’s Aurora’s Wedding, Blue Girl in Frederick Ashton's Les Patineurs, Kenneth MacMillan's Four Seasons, Joshua Junker's Remembrance, Marius Petipa's Paquita, and Arielle Smith's Culmination. Professional engagements as a student included performing in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with The Royal Ballet and in The Nutcracker with Birmingham Royal Ballet.
