Azerbaijani tenor Yusif Eyvazov performs at opera houses worldwide, including La Scala, Milan, Vienna State Opera, Zurich Opera, Teatro Real, Madrid, Staatsoper unter den Linden and Liceu, Barcelona. He made his debut with The Royal Opera in the 2017/18 Season as Macduff (Macbeth) and returned in the 2018/19 Season as Don Alvaro (La forza del destino). Recent highlights include Radamès (Aida) at Arena di Verona, Rodolfo (La bohème) at Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Cavaradossi (Tosca) at Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Il trovatore at Staatsoper unter den Linden and in Orange and Hermann (Pique Dame) at Vienna State Opera. Engagements for 2025/26 include La forza del destino in Zurich, Tosca in Muscat, Naples and Paris, Il trovatore in Trieste and Madrid, Aida in Berlin and Turandot in Valencia. In addition to his singing career, Eyvazov serves as the director of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
