The Big Give
Support the future of ballet and opera between 17 and 24 March 2026 and your donation will be doubled.
One donation, double the impact – The Big Give ‘Arts for Impact’ Challenge is back.
This year the Royal Ballet and Opera are hoping to raise £40,000 in support of RBO Schools, with donations being generously matched pound for pound by the Katie Bradford Arts Foundation and the Reed Foundation.
What is The Big Give Arts for Impact Challenge?
‘The Big Give’ are a match funding organisation that help charities such as ourselves to make the most of donations made. This year, we’ve partnered with them once again to double the impact of your donations. Between 17 March 2026 and midday on 24 March 2026, all donations up to £20,000 will be matched pound for pound by our generous funding partners. All you need to do is make your gift to our campaign on their website.
What is RBO Schools?
The Royal Ballet and Opera’s award-winning national schools programme brings ballet and opera into classrooms across the country. It’s free to access for all state primary schools, with resources, training and live lessons available to anyone who wants to take part.
Where is RBO Schools?
Last year RBO Schools worked with schools in every corner of the country, from Carlisle to Cornwall, inspiring over 140,000 children with the magic of ballet, opera and theatre design. Our goal is to reach 30% of primary schools in the country by 2028.
