Friday Rush

Get last-minute tickets for the Royal Ballet and Opera at a range of prices – even for sold-out shows!

Friday Rush tickets are released every Friday at 1pm. They include tickets for Main Stage performances for the following week, until the next Friday Rush. All of the performances with tickets in the next Friday Rush will appear on this page.

You can purchase two Friday Rush tickets for each performance.

The next Friday Rush will be held on Friday 11 July 2025 at 1pm.

From the start of the 2025/26 Season, the Royal Ballet and Opera will no longer be offering Friday Rush tickets. Please find more information on our Friday Rush FAQs page. The final Friday Rush will be Friday 18 July 2025.

The Royal Ballet School Summer performance 2025

SATURDAY 12 JULY 2025, 12PM

Dancers from one of the world’s greatest ballet schools take to the Main Stage in an annual showcase of their talent and artist

Semele

TUESDAY 15 JULY 2025, 7PM

Experience Handel’s opera of desire and destruction in a darkly satirical new staging.

Opera singer Pretty Yende is photographed as Semele, a character from the opera of the same name. Semele is viewed from above, as she gazes at someone who casts a looming shadow over her.

Please note the performance of Il Trovatore on 16 July 2025 is British Sign Language interpreted and Captioned.
