Background

On this 60-minute tour of the Royal Opera House join Tom, an experienced children's workshop facilitator and actor, to explore this enchanting, festive ballet. You will learn parts of the famous Nutcracker mime, handle ballet shoes and costumes and peek through the window of the rehearsal studio to see where The Royal Ballet prepare.

Venture to backstage areas usually off-limits to the public and discover the magic of The Nutcracker. Have the opportunity to hold pointe shoes and tutu's from previous Royal Ballet productions and enjoy a photo opportunity on the famous 'Bridge of Aspiration' that connects The Royal Ballet School and the Royal Opera House.

Adults without children will not be admitted. Please note all children must be accompanied by an adult. One adult may be responsible for up to three children. Everyone attending must have their own ticket.

The meeting point for this tour is the Ground Floor Cloakroom of the Royal Opera House.
