Dutch contemporary dance company Introdans returns to the Linbury Theatre in a compelling mixed programme honouring female choreographic voices. They will present Lucinda Child's Notes of Longing and Concerto, alongside Inbal Pinto's Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

Notes of Longing

Opening the mixed programme is minimalist choreographer Lucinda Child’s creation for Introdans, Notes of Longing. This work is inspired by the structure of Matteo Myderwyk’s piano music.

Concerto

In Lucinda Child’s Concerto – an absorbing work described as ‘one long whirlwind’ – seven dancers race across the stage in continually changing formations, accompanied by the driving music of Henryk Mikołaj Górecki.

Boulevard of Broken Dreams

Inbal Pinto’s Boulevard of Broken Dreams follows. Reworking an earlier piece of choreography, Pinto paints a spectrum of colours and feelings in this work that reflects on past lives, bygone worlds, lost loved ones and memories that resonate like a distant inner voice.
