Background

As she prepares for her performance as Violetta in La traviata, Ermonela Jaho, leads this special opera singing masterclass alongside Jette Parker Artists.

Ermonela Jaho was born in Albania and regularly performs at the world’s major opera houses, including the Royal Opera House, Metropolitan Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro alla Scala Milan, Paris Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Teatro Real in Madrid, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and the Arena di Verona. She is the Artist Ambassador of Opera Rara and Opera for Peace, and is a member of the Academy of Sciences of Albania. Her signature roles include Violetta, Cio-Cio-San, Suor Angelica, Adriana Lecouvreur, Anna Bolena, Thaïs and Luisa Miller.
