Background
Led by Artistic Director Joseph Toonga, Just Us Dance Theatre (JUDT) is a sector leading Hip Hop development organisation, delivering training and development programmes for young Hip Hop dancers and early career artists from different backgrounds across the UK and internationally.
JUDT proudly presents a double bill of new Hip Hop works performed by the Just Us Apprenticeship Company.
The Just Us Apprenticeship Company is the UK’s first and only Hip Hop training and development programme (12 weeks) that provides bursary support for young people to take part, providing a much-needed supported route into the professional performance sector, specifically for early career Black and Global Majority dancers.
The evening will feature newly commissioned works from Dutch artist and choreographer Chandenie Gobardhan and a new collaboration by choreographers Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy MBE and Joseph Toonga.
Join us to witness the extraordinary talents of this new generation of performers!
