Background

The Royal Ballet will be holding its first costume sale in over 40 years at the Royal Opera House, with hundreds of items on offer from both past and recent productions.

The Royal Ballet and Opera costume sale will feature over 300 pieces from a range of ballets and operas from our repertoire.

There will be modern clothing, period costumes, fancy dress, hats, accessories, footwear, military costumes and everything in between – you may even find an item with the name of a famous performer on the label.

We continue to work towards a zero waste goal and aim to make this sale as sustainable as possible. All unsold items will be offered to charities. All money raised will aid the Royal Opera House Covent Garden Foundation.
