Situated on the Royal Opera House's fifth floor, above the historic Covent Garden Piazza, Cicoria and Bar Cicoria offer an exceptional dining experience within one of London's most iconic theatres.
Cicoria and Bar Cicoria are open to all – you do not need a theatre ticket and walk-ins are welcome.
Cicoria’s kitchen draws inspiration from Italy's Emilia-Romagna region – an area famed for its rich culinary traditions. From thoughtfully designed mains and desserts to shareable antipasti and small plates, each dish is ingredient-led and rooted in seasonality.
Dine in our elegant new indoor restaurant space located on the fifth floor of the Royal Opera House or reserve a seat outdoors on the covered Cicoria Terrace to enjoy your food with sweeping views of central London.
The restaurant is open to all. If you’re attending a performance, we recommend booking at least two hours before curtain up to allow enough time to enjoy all of your courses. We do not offer interval dining at Cicoria, please consider one of our other restaurants for this option.
Open 12pm - 11pm, Monday to Saturday, 12pm - 9pm, Sunday.
Bar Cicoria transports Turin's historic bar culture to the heart of London's West End. Set above Covent Garden Piazza, our covered rooftop terrace offers an escape from the bustling city streets below.
Unwind and socialise from midday until late over a curated selection of wines, cocktails, beers and non-alcoholic options – accompanied by irresistible cicchetti and snacks.
Open 12pm - 11pm, Monday to Saturday, 12pm - 9pm, Sunday.
The Cicoria team is headed by Angela Hartnett OBE, one of the UK’s most loved chefs and restaurateurs. Angela is known for her sophisticated yet simple, Italy-inspired cooking and passion for good, honest food – values instilled in her by her Italian grandmother and mother.
