Gift certificates
You can buy a gift certificate online to use for tickets to performances, tours, programme vouchers, membership, subscriptions to Royal Ballet and Opera Stream and donations to the Royal Ballet and Opera.

You can choose to send the gift certificate:
- to yourself
- to someone else
You will get the e-gift certificate by email on the next working day after your purchase. We cannot send gift certificates by post.
Gift certificates must be used within 36 months from the date of purchase.
How to Redeem a gift certificate
Gift certificates can be redeemed online for tickets to performances, tours, programme vouchers, membership, subscriptions to Royal Ballet and Opera Stream and donations to the Royal Ballet and Opera. Some gift certificates, such as those specifically for membership or Royal Ballet and Opera Stream are not redeemable against other types of purchases.
- Sign in to your account or register for a new account
- Select tickets for the production or tour you want to attend
- Proceed to checkout
- Enter your gift certificate number on the payment page
- Choose how much of the gift certificate to redeem against your purchase
- Accept the terms and conditions and place your order
- Your tickets will be sent to your email address as e-tickets
- Sign into your account or register for a new account
- Find the email that contains your electronic gift certificate
- Click on the gift certificate link in the email, this will take you to a unique checkout page
- A stream subscription will be automatically added to your basket and the gift certificate applied. The payment amount will be zero
- Accept the terms and conditions and place your order
- Your stream subscription is now active
- Sign in to your account or register for a new account
- Go to roh.org.uk/support/membership/friends
- Find the level of membership listed on the gift certificate and select Join/Renew
- On the next page select Add to Basket
- Proceed to checkout
- Enter your gift certificate number on the payment page. The payment amount will be zero
- Accept the terms and conditions and place your order
- Your membership is now active
You can also contact the Membership team to redeem your membership gift certificate. You will need your certificate number and contact details including your address.
- You cannot use gift certificates at the Royal Opera House cafés, bars and restaurants, or in the shop.
- You cannot redeem gift certificates for cash in part or whole.
- Gift Certificates cannot be refunded.
- Gift Certificates cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
- The Royal Opera House cannot control or guarantee delivery on or before a specific date and cannot accept responsibility for any late delivery.
