Biography
Zeynep Kepekli is a London-based lighting designer who creates work globally across dance, theatre, opera, ballet as well as site specific projects and installations. Her work is influenced by nature, architecture and bodies in spaces. She continuously questions geography and belonging in her work. Some of her recent credits include: Common Grounds (Pina Bausch Foundation/Ecole de Sables, Sadler’s Wells), The Meaning of Zong (Tom Morris/Giles Terera, Bristol Old Vic), How Did We Get Here (Julie Cunningham Co with Mel C, Sadler’s Wells), Afternoon Conversations With Dancers (Robert Cohan/Yorke Dance Project, Royal Opera House).
