A life of luxury... or love? Manon’s inner turmoil and struggle for survival lie at the devastating heart of Kenneth MacMillan’s 1974 ballet, set to Jules Massenet’s score and featuring Nicholas Georgiadis’s designs.
29 October 2026 at 7.30pm, Rehearsing: Visionaries: Robbins and MacMillan
Two profound meditations on humanity, community and connection. This mixed programme features Jerome Robbins’s Dances at a Gathering and Kenneth MacMillan’s Song of the Earth.
14 January 2027 at 7.30pm, Rehearsing: Landmarks: Unmissable Ashton
Three milestone works created over three decades – experience the choreographic imagination of Frederick Ashton. This mixed programme comprises Les Rendezvous, Symphonic Variations and Daphnis and Chloë.
9 February 2027 at 7.30pm, Rehearsing: MADDADDAM
Margaret Atwood’s dystopian epic of annihilation and survival is transformed into a visionary new ballet by Wayne McGregor.

The Royal Ballet in Rehearsal events take place in multiple venues.
For the Clore:
Contact the Box Office to book step-free seating options or two wheelchair spaces available in Row A.
For the Linbury Theatre:
There are six wheelchair spaces and step-free routes to seats on the right-hand side of the auditorium only. If you have a mobility impairment, you should book tickets for the right-hand side. An Assisted Hearing Facility is available.
