Young RBO is a free scheme for 16-25 year olds. Create a Royal Ballet and Opera account and make sure to add your date of birth. Then you'll be automatically added to the Young RBO scheme.

How to book Young RBO tickets
- Sign in to your account so we know it’s you.
- Once you’ve selected your chosen performance date, choose ‘Help me find a seat’. This is the quickest way to see the £30 Young RBO tickets.
- Select two tickets*, choose the Young RBO ticket category and filter by seating area (optional).
- Scroll down and click 'Find Seats’ – the best available seats reserved for you will appear at the bottom of the page.
- Add tickets to your basket and continue to checkout.
- On the day of the performance, please bring your ID.
Young RBO seats are allocated across the auditorium. If the Young RBO ticket category does not appear, this means the £30 Young RBO tickets have sold out for that performance.
Tickets are available for Monday–Thursday performances only. Exclusions apply.
* Young RBO members can book one guest ticket per performance, but all guests must be aged 16–25. We do not allow Young RBO members to book guest tickets for anyone over the age of 25. Anyone attending a performance with a Young RBO ticket may be asked to prove their age.
Young RBO Nights
Each season we host special events for those on the Young RBO scheme. We host two Young RBO Nights – one for ballet and one for opera.
Young RBO take over the auditorium, with discounted tickets (between £1-£30) available to all Young RBO members. The evening also includes additional discounts across our restaurants and bars, as well as exclusive pre-show tours.
It’s the perfect way to introduce your friends to a night at the Royal Opera House.

Terms and Conditions
You can book up to two Young RBO tickets per performance and we reserve the right to cancel or refund any ticket purchases over this limit. Seats are available throughout the Main Stage auditorium, subject to availability. Young RBO tickets are only available for performances on our Main Stage, Monday–Thursday. Additional exclusions apply. Discounts are available on all Insight events.
Anyone attending a performance using a Young RBO ticket should be aged 16–25. IDs may be checked on the door.
Unfortunately, Young RBO tickets are not available for:
- Seats in Boxes
- On Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays
- All Linbury Theatre performances
All performances of:
- Parsifal
- The Nutcracker
- Swan Lake
- Götterdämmerung
- A Centenary Celebration
Opening night of:
- Un ballo in maschera
- Così fan tutte
- La Gioconda
- Hercules
